Naming your Committed Club is an opportunity to define its culture. Choose a name that resonates with your gym’s brand and values. We’ve listed a few ideas below, or you could use one of our AI-generated names within the product.

1. This starts with determining your philosophy.  We have seen successful Committed Clubs with a range of check-in rules set. Use your gym’s philosophy and culture to help you define the number of check-ins for your Committed Club.
   • Do you want the Committed Club to be more inclusive? If that aligns with your culture, consider an “easier” number of check-ins per month like 8 or 9.
   • Do you want a more exclusive Committed Club? To really level up behavior and commitment, select a number that’s more difficult for your members, like 16 or 19. Note: we do not recommend more than 20 check-ins for the Committed Club to ensure your clients are getting rest days and preventing injuries.
   • Consider your plans: If you have a few plans - for example, an 8x per month and a 12x per month plan - consider selecting a check-in number that pushes members to the next level of membership. In this example, your check-in number may be 10 or 12 to help drive those on the 8x per month plan to the next level.
   • Be inclusive: The best Committed Clubs are all-inclusive, driving all types of check-ins (classes, appointments, events, and open gym), ensuring it’s easy for members to understand.

1. Build anticipation: Promote the Committed Club with excitement! Use your social media, social feed on the Members or Branded app, and in-gym announcements to get members pumped.
2. Consistency is key: Run the Committed Club every month to create an ongoing sense of challenge and reward. It may take a few months before it really starts to drive a change in check-ins.
3. Keep members on track: Use mid-month notifications to encourage those who are falling behind to get their check-ins in. It’s the little nudge they need to stay motivated!

While rewards can be a great way to add an additional incentive for your members to participate, they are not necessary. Our solution provides plenty of opportunities to recognize members who make it, and some gyms running Committed Clubs have shared that they still see positive engagement without rewards.

1. Rewards don’t have to be expensive—they just need to make your members feel valued and appreciated. Thoughtful rewards show that you recognize their dedication. The key is to choose a structure and rewards that resonate with your community.
2. First, determine how you want to structure your rewards:

• Monthly drawing for a reward: Each month, members who qualify for the Committed Club are entered into a random drawing for a special prize. This adds an element of excitement and unpredictability.
• Monthly rewards for all: Every member who qualifies for the Committed Club receives a reward. This could be something simple but meaningful, like gym swag or discounts on services.
• Quarter- and Year-End Rewards: For members who stay consistent across multiple months, offer bigger rewards at the end of each quarter or year. For example, anyone who makes it in all 3 months of the quarter gets a reward or one person is randomly selected for a reward. Others will do a year-end reward and limit it to members who have made it into the Committed Club 9 or 10 months of the 12 total. This incentivizes long-term participation.
• Rewards for streaks: Recognize members who maintain streaks of consecutive months in the Committed Club. The longer their streak, the better the reward. For example, 3-month, 6-month, and 12-month streaks could each have different levels of rewards.

Next, choose the types of rewards you’ll offer:

• Drive engagement with in-house offerings:
  • Free sessions for your gym or studio’s amenities like cold plunge or sauna
  • Complimentary personal training sessions
  • Gym-branded apparel or merchandise (bonus: members wearing your gear makes them more connected to your brand!)
• Partner with local businesses:
  • Offer massages, wellness treatments, or spa days
  • Gift cards to local cafes, restaurants, or health stores
  • Tickets to a local game or event
  • Pay for an all-inclusive trip for 2 to an awesome destination
• Merchandise or Swag
  • Everyone loves some branded swag! Some successful ideas we’ve seen are:
    • A Yeti cup or water bottle
    • A custom Committed Club sticker for each month during the year
    • Branded tees or hoodies

Members are ranked first by total months they've made Committed Club this year, then by their current streak length. Ties share the same rank. The leaderboard resets each year on February 1, giving January a full month of celebration before the new year begins.

Members are listed alphabetically, with a special icon next to first-time Committed Club members and the person with the most check-ins that month.
