How do Flex Fees give me control over transaction fees?
Unlike other software providers, PushPress does not charge gym owners fees for each transaction. Instead, Flex Fees allow you to set and manage additional fees on transactions, giving you the autonomy to collect and allocate these funds toward community support, business improvements, or operational costs — however you see fit.
Who gets the proceeds of the Flex Fee?
Your business. PushPress does not keep any of the fee. (Ex: If a plan costs $100 and the gym sets a 7% fee, the client would be charged $107. If Stripe processing fees = $3, the gym gets $107-3 = $104)
Can I change how I use Flex Fee funds?
Absolutely. You have complete flexibility to adjust how you allocate Flex Fee funds based on your gym's evolving needs and community priorities.
Will my customers be able to see the add-on fees?
Yes, transparency is key. The Flex Fees will be clearly itemized in the payment breakdown provided to your customers at the time of purchase.
How do I explain Flex Fee to my members?
We encourage gym owners to be transparent when implementing Flex Fees. Provide clear communication to members about exactly how their fees are being used to benefit the gym community.

The maximum Flex Fee you can set is 10%.
Can I limit Flex Fees to memberships only?
At this time, no. If a Flex Fee is created, it will apply to all transactions using the payment type specified.
