El Segundo, Ca - March 31, 2022 - PushPress, a suite of software solutions for gyms and studios, announced their concept of Pressly™️, an A.I. for fitness business. The announcement came as part of the company’s PowerUp event, a virtual event held on March 31, 2022.
The concept behind Pressly™️ is to help gyms and studio owners both access and leverage data, to help drive businesses to greater success. For too long, those small businesses have been left out of any data and technological advancements. Those were traditionally reserved for big tech companies and large fitness businesses with major funding.
But PushPress aims to change that with Pressly™️.
As part of the first iteration of Pressly™️, PushPress CEO, Dan Uyemura, shared the company’s first working algorithm. The Member Churn Model looks at 159 different data points across all interactions a member can have at a gym. This can range from class attendance, to retail purchase habits. Based on a member’s activities (or lack thereof), Pressly™️ can calculate with a high degree of certainty what a member’s likelihood to churn is.
“The Member Churn Model is just one application of Pressly™️. We’re building the foundation to allow Pressly™️ to not only recognize these opportunities and make a recommendation, but to automate many of the executable tasks. Our vision of Pressly™️ takes the guess work out of running a profitable business, and automatically does it for you” - Dan. Uyemura, PushPress CEO
Pressly™️ is still in the early stages of development. But PushPress has already committed significant resources to the the project. Since January 2021, the company has hired 14 new engineers.
Pressly™️ comes as part of a larger company vision of the “#selfdrivinggym” shared by Uyemura.
