Every once in a while, it’s nice to be recognized for the work you put in and what you’ve built. Everyone on the PushPress team is always heads-down and focused on creating a platform and community we can be proud of.
So when the most comprehensive software review provider, like Capterra, comes along and awards us with the #3 spot on the “Top 20: Member Management Systems”, we pick up our heads, humbly smile, then eagerly get back to work.
If you’re not familiar with Capterra, they are an independent review company that provides honest and real reviews from research and user reviews.
The Requirements
There are tons of software review sites, and even more ‘Top Lists’. But what we respect about this list from Capterra is the criteria they based the rankings on.
The selection is based on a total score of User Reviews and Web Search Interest. According to their website:
- The Reviews component considers the “overall” user rating (1-5 stars) of products based on reviews left in the last 24 months.
- The Web Search Interest component considers average monthly search volume for a standardized set of keywords for each product, as derived by a proprietary search methodology, as well as the position of the vendor’s domain on the search engine results page (SERP) for each keyword.
- To be featured on this list, software must offer core membership management functionality and have at least 200 unique user reviews between October 2018 and October 2020
We edged out some very strong competition, some of which are heavily funded by investors and stockholders. We have been bootstrapped since day 1. Our ranking on this list is because of the community we serve. That’s what it comes down to. Without you guys, we have no platform. This was a community win for us!
