If you don’t understand your customer’s journey, then how can they trust you to help them?A 3 step process plan is important to help people overcome uncertainty. It communicates how easy the process will be and helps them visualize what it’s like to join a gym like yours. If things are unclear or feel too complicated your potential client will likely click away.Do you display a plan for success on your current website? Do a quick scan of your website, and see if you can plan out a 3 step path to success. Follow these 3 easy steps:
Step 1 should be exactly what the person needs to do to get started. So for example, if you offer a free consultation, the first step would be to “Sign up for a FREE Consultation,” with a brief description of what this will entail.
Step 2 should be a part of the path to success. Let your potential client know that you will be there to guide them every step of the way. Whether it's weekly check-ins, or whether you celebrate mini PR's, let them know that!
Step 3 should paint a picture of success. If joining your gym means they'll attain their fitness goals, they should have no reason not to join your gym. When they win, your gym wins.
Account for Logic and emotions during your clients fitness journey
Keep in mind that people making purchase decisions experience emotions during the process, especially when it comes to fitness. Who wouldn't feel a bit of anxiety when making a purchase decision where they don't know what to expect? This is why a simple 3 step path to success will develop an accurate portrayal of their experience, and ease some of the unknowns they face.
